Imagination

March 4th, 2010

The act that wishes

to give form to matter

From mind

All too dark in being

And light in promise

Turned red or dulled hue

In its unpassing

And uncanniness

to its presence found,

Ecstasy thought of in short supply.

By emotion to fancy

turned hope

then the hand,

the line

of disappointment

and realization,

Disney more prolific

Than the stars wished by

And the dreams come true.

The act is the utmost.

More than electrons

Down neural pathways,

And chemicals at the synapses,

When all members are frozen

Windows boarded

closed for the season,

It is a movement for perpetuation,

And for reality in spring colors.
